Making of a memory bear

I really love making my bears. I try to listen to exactly what people want and do my best to create it. This bear is made from a loved ones shirts and hankies.

I am sent the clothes and discuss what each bear will look like. What pattern will be used where etc.

I then cut out and line the pieces to give the bear extra strength.

Then it’s time to sew and stuff!! Each bear is jointed and so can be manipulated into whatever position you want.

I have always given each bear I make a name whilst I’m making them, so meet Charlie!

I hope he will be able to give some comfort to his new owner.
