Here is a list of questions I get asked a lot. So to save your time I have put them all together. If you have a question that isn’t asked here please do not hesitate to get in touch.
HOW MUCH ARE YOUR MEMORY BEARS?
Memory Bears are £79.95 each
WHAT SIZE ARE YOUR MEMORY BEARS ?
Memory Bears are approximately 33cm tall
HOW MANY ITEMS & WHAT MATERIAL IS BEST TO USE FOR MEMORY BEARS?
This may differ depending on the bear you are choosing. We recommend
6-8 items of small baby cloths
2-4 items of children’s clothing
2-4 items of adult clothing
This is just a general guide but please feel free to send me any clothes you would like and we can work together to produce exactly what you want. I will return any unused items and scraps if you so wish.
I can work with most types of fabric and all my bears are lined with interfacing which makes them more stable and produces a high quality finish. Most knitted items can be used but this may alter the size of the bear slightly due to the material. Don’t forget to include badges, ties or extra uniform.
Clothes must be clean & in good condition, worn clothing may affect the quality of the finished keepsake.
HOW DO I SEND THE ITEMS OF CLOTHING TO YOU?
Once you have placed your order online we will then send you a confirmation email. Please include a note with your name and order number so that I can match your clothes to the correct order. Please take care to pack your clothes securely to reduce the risk of loss or damage. Mailing bags are preferred as they are more secure and waterproof.
Simply take this to your local post office & send your parcel by recorded delivery so that a signature can provide proof of receipt, this reduces the risk of loss or damage.
I will let you know when I have received them, this will be to your email provided when you order from the website. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact me to check if I have received them.
CAN YOU EMBROIDER ?
Yes, all my embroidery is sewn by hand not machine as I feel this gives a better more crafted finish.
HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?
The cost of delivery is included in the price of your bear.
This includes tracked delivery so a signature may be required on arrival.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CREATE MY MEMORY BEAR?
Standard Turn Around – Once your clothes have been received, it will take approximately 6-8 weeks to complete each Memory Bear. If you require your order before a specific date, please let me know in advance and I will try our hardest to achieve this.
(Please be aware turn around times are from receipt of clothing not from date of order. As every Memory Bear is totally unique, these times are subject to change.)

WHAT PAYMENT TYPES DO YOU ACCEPT?
When ordering online we take all of our payments through PayPal. We have found this the easiest & safest option. If you do not have a PayPal account follow the link & at the bottom of the screen there is also an option to pay by credit or debit card.
I also accept bank transfer, but please contact me first if you wish to use this payment method.
CAN I GIVE THE MEMORY BEAR TO A CHILD AS A TOY?
Sorry No. Due to the external material supplied by yourselves memory bears are not toys. They can not be individually CE checked & have been sold to you as an ornamental item only. By continuing with a purchase you have agreed this term by placing an order.
CAN I RETURN AN ITEM?
I am sorry but I cannot accept returns as this is a bespoke item. Please note that there may be variations, due to the very different natures of the fabrics I receive, the final item may differ slightly from the examples shown. If there is a concern with an item after delivery however, please do get in touch so I can put it right.
